"Rafael" is a 24 cm tall Art Bear. it was sewed from natural fabrics (flax/cotton) by my own designed pattern, stuffed with sintepon and buckwheat shells, embroidered and beaded by hand. It has hand made eyes and a most charming smile. Rafael's arms and legs are attached to the body by my original technique. It has 5 points of articulation.
And here she comes. She is dressed in black, as the darkness is her constant companion; she is followed by crows, as no other birds would stand her cold, she is bringing North winds and pulls the last leaves from the trees... She seems to be a stranger to all living, and brings confusion to the fearful hearts.... But if you will stop for a second, and look at her closely – you will understand, that she is not coming to harm you, just to bring you peace of mind, to make you slow down from running and to give you time to arrange your thoughts. She is just a part of a cycle. She keeps the warm in her heart, and will release it when the time comes. Winter.
This doll was inspired by truth story. Once upon a time there lived a little girl who had no dolls. It happened that her cousins were coming to visit her, and her mother has bought a couple of dolls to please them. How ever the cousins didn\'t come that time and the mother has given those dolls to the little girl and her sister. Oh how happy the girl was! She had finally got a doll just as she dreamt. But unluckily for her, her little naughty brother has taken her doll and ripped it apart.... the little girl was heartbroken. The time has passed, the girl has grew up. And now she is a doll collector and has surrounded herself with the most beautiful dolls. The End
